The release notes say there is a RAV Sensitivity Calibration, but I don’t see any way to adjust this? My RAV doesn’t activate with my .223.

The adjustment is under profiles then current and you will see RAV Adjustment.

I updated it last night, factory reset it and had a good play about with it for a few hours and all seemed well until this morning. I woke up to find my iPhone had reconnected to the scope WiFi during the night after I had switched the scope off! I went to get the scope and found it was switched on showing video but with no interface displayed. Had to hard power it off by holding the power button down for 10 seconds or so. I switched it back on to find the same state with no interface so have had to hard power it down a few times with the same result. So right now it seems like it's trashed itself overnight!

Not good! You have me wondering now if mine may have done the same! Guess I need to go check!
I played with mine for a bit yesterday as well. I found the Smart MIL-Dot to be extremely busy and distracting. I mainly use mine for pest elimination, rats particularly. They are small targets so with that much going on in the view finder it's hard to find the rat. I really wish ATN would just add a plain dot with nothing else as a reticle choice.
I also shoot PCP air guns, so the ability to calibrate the RAV was of particular interest. I have the 4K Pro mounted to an FX Crown in .22 caliber and despite their claim it worked on a .22 caliber air rifle, I found it to be very inconsistent and unreliable. Out of a 10 shot string, it only activated the RAV twice. I'll continue to just press record so I know I will capture the shot. I was really hoping for great things from this update, but am somewhat disappointed with the end results...

I updated last night - excited to see Mil-dot scope -wished it recorded with reticle Turned on to use after work today lost all settings but date and time Added back unit type; profile and quickly zeroed at 50 yards (shooting slugs in pcp air-rifle) sat for evening pesting over bait checked 1.5 hrs later - got black screen attempted factory restore once got home with PC stuck in limbo - powers up where last zeroed but nothing responding - Dead In The Water IS THERE A WAY TO GO BACK TILL ATN CORRECTS THIS RELEASE?

You can go back to the previous release if you a copy of it. The software will not allow a lower release number to load. Just rename the file 3.1.08.440 or a slightly higher number. Don’t go crazy high, you don’t want a high number to keep you updating the firmware in the future.

Mine was working fine today after updating Thursday. I played with the RAV calibration some today and found if I only accepted values between 1.2 and 1.7 ft/s, I was able to get the RAV to activate on 4 out of 5 shots. The previous calibration was using values between 2.2 and 2.6 ft/s and it only activated recording 1 to 2 times out of 10 shots. I'm still experimenting, but it's getting better!

Can you save your zero and then update firmware and not have to re-zero?

I have done that with previous releases, but I haven’t upgraded to the latest version yet. I used to update as soon as the newest version was released but now I wait a couple of weeks before I update.

Sure, after you make your corrections save the profile to both the scope and to your SD card. Remove the SD card and save the profile on your computer. After a firmware upgrade I will format the SD card and then copy the profile from my computer to the SD card. Put the SD card back into the scope and load the profile back into the scope.
It may sound complicated but all you are doing is saving a file, loading it onto a SD and saving the file back into the scope. I have multiple Micro SD cards (32gb name brand high speed such as SanDisk and Samsung) and I use 1 card for firmware updates and save my profiles to the other card. That allows you to skip saving the profile to your computer and the transferring it back to the SD card.

I want to update the firmware so recoil activated video might work better. I’m shooting a 224 Valkyrie AR do the recoil is minimal.

I installed the new firmware update this morning. Right now everything seems to be working fine. Leaving to go pig hunting Thursday so just in case I will go to the range and make sure my zero is still correct.

Since I installed the new firmware, I have tried recording video several times. It seems to be recording and the icon displays while it is recording, but there is nothing on the SD card when I go to view the recordings. With the previous firmware it worked fine. Any ideas?

Upgraded the firmware, lost paring with ABL. Tried factory reset and tried pairing again NO LUCK! IF YOU HAVE AN ABL, DONT UPGRADE. THERES A BIG CHANCE THAT IT WILL F-UP YOUR ABL. Thanks God I'm still within the return window for my ABL thru Amazon. This sucker is going straight back tomorrow.
