I don't know if it's just me or if this is an issue with the design, but the unit is constantly getting turn on while in the case and draining the battery. I think they need to change the firmware to require a long press of the power button to have it turn on.

And I do it constantly my German Shepherd May barely bump it boom on. 3 hours later wtf.
FYI retired CSM army day or night at sun up watch east every day massive light ships gathering coming n going no joke no bs. Also all use IR720 lens on a camera or clip on phone lens or a tad lower down to IR530 look in the sky’s n trees somebody let something in Look for yourself don’t be a selfish fuk identify what u see tell others. Don’t question ***** till u do it. Or hit me up I will hold ur hand and walk u thru this.

I personally don't like carrying them in the factory case .___ Pelican case with cut out around switches would be better option . ___ Going to be in town today and look at options .

I agree, I just bought a new pair Binox-HD 4X16 and the battery's didn't last 30 minutes of on and off time. I had problems where it wouldn't turn off also.

Problem solved. Hard case for Pu and boat . I also picked up an insulated Ozark Trails bag that fits perfectly in the Bottom of my backpack and the binoculars and original case fit perfectly in it . Switch is protected and so are bioculars
