Hi Guys
I want to find out if anybody knows how to turn off the reticle on the ATN Mars 4 thermal rifle scope.
If it is not possible can you just turn the reticle brightness down? I want to also use the thermal as a monocular and not have the reticle in the picture.
Thank you so much.
Kind Regards Richard

Dont know if this will work but worth a shot. In the menu for reticle style there are 7 different styles and the 8th position seems to be clear. Try to select the clear 8th position - it could indicate no reticle. Hope this is correct and helps you.

Good to know. I agree with Richard above that it would be very useful to be able to turn off in a spotting mode. Maybe a good idea to include in a firmware upgrads - should be simple enough adding in an on/off switch function.

Probably waking a dinosaur, but did this option end up eventuating? Probably find out next week when my unit arrives, but sounds like such a useful setting that I never considered.

So far there is no way to turn reticle off. It would be also very useful to have a future firmware update that will offer for both the "Reticle" and the "ATN" logo the ability to turn them off. I sometimes would like to stitch some thermal pictures in order to create a larger one, like a panorama. I am also an amateur photographer and found the pictures of my MARS 4 640 to be of acceptable quality for creating panoramas. This will boost the sales of the 640x480 scopes imho.
