Just curious what feature you would like to see be added to the X-Sigh II, what do you think it's missing? Maybe we can create a list and send it to the ATN guys

I think it would be nice to have a zoom reset to a preset zoom level when a shot is fired.
If I zoom in quite a lot to place the shot, I'm having a hard time follow the animal after the shot is fired, (30-06 with a suppressor) So a function kinda like the recoil activated video recording, but a recoil reset zoom level.
Then it could zoom back instantly to the lowest level or a preset one, then you would have a better field of view so you can follow a potential injured animal due to a bad shot.

Not trying to hijack the thread here in a different direction. But, This feature already exist to some degree if you are willing to use the X-TRAC with the scope.

Never fixed the old one, and now a new one comes out... That's so nice...
I hope the new version works better...

First focal plane scaling with the reticle. Since everything is digital, shouldn't be that difficult.

Before adding new features, I'd like to see some of the existing features fixed. Some can't be fixed with a firmware update, like the eye relief, poor battery life, and image quality when zoomed.
I don't use most of the features, just night vision, and video recording. All my shooting is done at 70 feet or less and the scope is mounted on a PCP air rifle.
The zoom control sucks, can't get it to stop where I want it unless I go back and forth several times and I get lucky to have it stop where I want it. Keep the currently set zoom setting when the scope is powered off and back on again. Also, the zoom resets to the lowest setting when I format the SD card.
Lower the minimum shooting distance to five or ten feet for those that use air rifles, bows, etc.
I'd like to see sleep mode work when an external battery pack is used. Have options in settings so sleep mode has better user control.
Add more reticles. Since it's digital, not sure if it would be possible to have user added reticles?
I know there are other things, but can't think of them now.
Cheers, PB

the ability to save more than 6 profiles would be nice. like maybe 24. would be nice for saving diff profiles of same gun using diff bullet weights etc.

With regard to updates, it may be best to wait and see what the Mk 4 will provide when it is up and running. Battery life apparently is extended out to 16-18 hours. That is on the internal rechargeable one.

1) More profiles. 2) More reticles. 3) Fix the D@mn minimum sight in range to less than 25 yards!!!
Repeat item number 3 about 100 more times!
Minimum sight distance used to be something like 5 or 10 yards, maybe less. I'm not sure why they had to muck that up.

I will be pleasantly surprised if ATN spends any more time/resources on the X-Sight II with the 4 already out.

For me nothing - dont us a lot of them at present for hunting as most of what I do is stalking in close and speed of a shot is far more important than pressing buttons.

Range finder wont range below 27.3 yds. 10 yds minimum would be better.

Why do you need to range that close? - thats spear chucker distances - you should be able to hit something at that range almost with your eyes closed.
