Hi Anyone had problems using recgargeable CR123 batteries in the binox HD. Myleft eyepiece locks up or it continues to display the ATN logo. Binos are OK with supplied batteries. I have reloaded the software anddone a factory reset. They seem to work OK in low light on night mode but when i select day mode the problem occurs

Perhaps one of the batteries is faulty or not charged. You didn't mention the type of rechargeable. Forget the old Ni-Mh or Ni-Cd. They typically don't supply enough voltage. (Example: Ni AA batteries only supply 1.2v.)

Left eyepiece not functioning is due to low voltage. That is why when you used the supplied batteries it went to working. Rechargeable batteries (cr123a and AA) dont have the needed voltage.
